Falling Into AI is a weeklong series of events exploring artificial intelligence in education, research, and professional practice.
From September 29 to October 3, FLITE will host Falling Into AI, a weeklong series of events exploring artificial intelligence in education, research, and professional practice. The week begins with a kickoff event featuring experts from Google for Education, followed by breakout sessions with Google. Throughout the week, AI-focused labs and centers across campus—including FLITE, the Center for Public Partnerships & Research (CPPR), the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE), and the Institute for Information Sciences—will open their doors to showcase how they’re applying AI in their work. Open houses will include in-person and virtual options, with treats, prizes, and giveaways available for in-person attendees.

The keynote will highlight Google's initiatives supporting AI education and research, demonstrating how AI drives innovation across disciplines, with a particular emphasis on Google Cloud AI solutions for the public sector. We will also discuss the alignment of these initiatives with the strategic goals of KU's AI Taskforce.
